How to Add Proxies to Dolphin Anty (2026): Step-by-Step Setup
Dolphin Anty is one of the most popular antidetect browsers for running dozens of accounts on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, marketplaces and ad platforms. But the browser solves only half the problem: it masks your device fingerprint, while the IP address is still yours. If ten profiles go online from one address, the platform will link them anyway. That's why every profile needs its own proxy. Here's how to add proxies to Dolphin Anty correctly, which type to choose and what to do if the proxy check fails.
Which proxy do you need for Dolphin Anty?
Dolphin Anty supports HTTP, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5. For most tasks, choose SOCKS5: it handles any traffic and masks the connection better. Pick the IP type by task:
Residential proxies are addresses from home internet providers. The all-round choice for social media, marketplaces and ad accounts.
Mobile proxies are carrier IPs with the highest trust. The best option for registering and warming up Facebook, TikTok and Instagram accounts.
Static residential IPs keep the same address. Use them for accounts that must always log in from one IP: ad accounts and marketplace stores.
The golden rule: one profile, one IP. And the proxy country should match the account's country.
Step 1. Get your proxy details
You need four things from your provider: host (IP or domain), port, username and password. Residential SOCKS5 proxies from popular networks, such as 9Proxy, 711Proxy and LokiProxy, are available in the ProxyUniverse catalog: pay with crypto or card and get your key right after payment.
Step 2. Add a proxy when creating a profile
In Browser Profiles, click Create profile (or the three dots next to an existing profile → Edit).
In the proxy field, choose New proxy.
Paste the string in one of the formats Dolphin Anty supports:
host:port:login:passwordlogin:password@host:portwith the type prefix:
socks5://login:password@host:port
Click the arrows on the right of the line: Dolphin checks the connection and shows the IP's country and time zone.
Save the profile and start it.
If the check fails, Dolphin won't open the profile with that proxy. This protects your real IP from leaking.
Step 3. IP change link for mobile and rotating proxies
Below the proxy line there's a Link to change IP field. If your mobile or rotating proxy comes with an IP change link, paste it here. A change-IP button then appears on the profiles screen, so you can switch addresses in one click without opening your provider's dashboard.
Step 4. Add proxies in bulk
If you run dozens of profiles, it's easier to upload all proxies as a list first:
Open Proxy in the left menu → Add Proxy → Mass addition.
Paste one proxy per line, using one consistent format.
Tick the profiles you need and choose Change proxy in the bottom panel to assign addresses to profiles.
Note that bulk operations are available on paid Dolphin Anty plans. On the free plan, proxies are added one by one.
Common errors and how to fix them
The check turns red. Most often the type is wrong: a SOCKS5 proxy entered as HTTP or vice versa. Confirm the protocol and check again.
Wrong username or password. Copy credentials without extra spaces: one trailing space breaks authentication.
Time zone doesn't match the IP. Keep time zone and geolocation set to "based on IP" so the profile looks natural.
One IP for several profiles. Even if it works, those profiles get linked. A ban on one drags the others down.
Free public proxies. Their addresses are already blacklisted by most platforms, so accounts on them don't last.
Conclusion
Setting up a proxy in Dolphin Anty takes a couple of minutes: get the host, port, username and password, paste the string into New proxy, check the connection and save the profile. For dozens of profiles, use Mass addition. The key is not to save on IP quality: a residential or mobile proxy for every profile, with the country matching the account.
